Sharing Your Faith
First and Last Things. Look at the first thing that Jesus said to his disciples, Mt 4:19. Look at the last thing he said to them, Mt 28:16-20. What is similar about these?
What Do We Share? To share our faith, we need
1. Experience. In order to tell your story
before – be honest
during – be detailed
after – be realistic
2. Explanation. Supposing you had just ten seconds to explain the gospel What would you say?
Look at Acts 17:22-31. Identify six things that Paul says about the gospel.
3. Evidence. It may be helpful to think about possible answers to questions which often crop up:-
How can believe in God?
Who is Jesus?
Did he rise from the grave?
Wasn’t he just a good man?
Do all roads lead to God?
Why do people suffer?
Can we trust the Bible?
Won’t a good life do?
